Fresh from the garden Friday morning, these lovely Pheasant’s Eye Daffodils (or to give them their proper name, which is so romantic, Narcissus Poeticus), just begged to be painted. They’re not bright and showy like some other daffodils, but they are so pure and understated that I think they are absolute stars. I’m always so pleased to see them.
Pure watercolour painting, using W & N Artists’ watercolour and Sanders Waterford NOT paper.
