No Place to Park

Human beings are imaginative creatures. We often imagine things the way they ought to have been or ought to be. This is why it’s so great to be human.

The image that we have of anything in our lives is a like behavior. To be more precise it’s like a mental behavior.

When you have a mental image that you can succeed at something, that means that you have the image in your head that says you can do something rather that you can’t do it, you tend to start acting on the image that you have. That’s how successful people become successful. It’s no “secret.”

So the next time you go to a shopping center to park your car, instead of imagining that the car park is full and you have no place to park, why not tell yourself you are going to find a parking space instead. So at least that way you are prepared to look for places to park and not looking for a no place to park.

Even if you don’t find a place to park, you of all people are now more prepared to find places to park. Stick with it.

The problem with most people is if you tell them to follow a certain diet to lose weight and after six weeks of dieting and no improvement is made, guess what happens, they will stop the program and usually get heavier.

So it is important that when you adopt this new way of thinking try it on small things first. Stuff that can bring you small successes on a immediate level so that you can be fired up to apply this way of thinking to the other parts of your life.

Sooner rather than later you will find yourself more positive about things.

And oh I don’t drive. I am just using parking as a metaphor.
