Artist's Description

Original, acrylic painting by Giselle, of Maurice Béjart – French Swiss Choreographer – Born in Marseille, France – January 1, 1927 – and died in Lausanne, Switzerland 22 November 2007.
He was one of the most influential, innovative and controversial European ballet choreographers.

Giselle’s Personal favourite: Maurice Béjart collaboration with Pierre Henri.

Among Henry’s best known works is the experimental album “Messe pour le temps présent”, one of several cooperation with choreographer Maurice Béjart featuring the popular track “Psyche Rock”.
