Hi Angie, thank you so much. Yes I bought a bird feeder about two years ago now, I think from memory. It has been worth every cent. I just love sitting on my verandah watching these parrots. They have different times they come in for a feed but these Rainbow Lorikeets are the most dominant little parrots. I also get Rosella’s (my favourite), Galah’s and Scaly Breasted Lorikeets. I would totally recommend having a bird feeder in the garden. It does bring so much joy! :)
Hi there Deb, thanks buddy. Well I get these little feathery friends coming and going all day. It’s great having the bird feeder in the garden. I have about 4-5 parrot species visit every day and then I get pidgeons and other birds. Every day is new.
Thanks Al, OK, I’ll send down some Rainbows if you send up some cockies! :) I don’t get the sulphur! Only had them once or twice but the other birds chased them off.
Thank you so much, yes I went down the back of the property yesterday to get that fern, wasn’t really happy with any shots, need to have another go. I managed to get this one though.
Hi Yolanda, how are you my friend? Yes they are so pretty. These two were just preening each other after hogging the feeder for a while, I think they were full and having a snoozy!
