Morning feed

This image has recently been exhibited at the Mia photo fair in Milan as part of the Minimalism Exhibition.

It represents a bird taking flight to pick another seed. I took this image whilst the local birds were feeding in winter.

As an image is quite interesting; as it captures the fluttering of the bird’s wings whilst trying to fly off to pick up another seed. These small birds are very fast and to capture them stationary on the ground was very difficult; and of course reviewing the images allowed me to stumble across this thrush like bird taking flight.
I took a number of pictures that morning in rapid succession; and this is just one of them.

Jacob's Veg - Road to Santiago

The picture entitled “Jacob’s Veg- Road to Santiago” will be featured at the “Your exhibition shot” in the New Moment Gallery in Belgrade, Serbia. This exhibition will be run by Gurushots; and the image received over one and a half thousand votes to enter into the exhibition.

This is the most exciting news regarding one of my images; as it is the first time my work will be exhibited in a gallery. The next step will be to feature as a printed artist in an exhibit; this time around it will be digitally displayed on screen alongside other photographers from across the globe.

December 2018 action

This year in December two of my pieces were sold somewhere in the USA and the UK. As this is not my main source of income; it is always heart warming to see that someone has fallen in love with my images enough to buy them as an object.…

The “Sleeping tiger” image sold as a spiral notebook; whilst a twin picture from the same series – captured at the London Zoo “tigers showing affection” sold as an acrylic block in September. These Bengali tigers were just laying in the sun when we visited the zoo; and was lovely to watch them enjoying their surrounding.

A more abstract image called “Please don’t feed the birds” sold as a studio pouch. It is more surprising to see this image sold as it was captured on a whim; when I visited Brighton (Sussex) England with my family. The sign on the pier tr

Photography challenges

In order to improve my craft and to have a better understanding of composition and theme based photography – I started entering some of my images in competitions.…

The image below was picked on Gurushots – as a “guru pick”. In each challenge on Gurushots – the person setting the challenge can chose a specific image as their favourite; whilst the rest of prizes is decided by the member’s voting.

I entered the image in the “people watching” category; on Redbubble – the image is called “On the job”

It is indeed one of my most favourite candid shots taken whilst walking out and about in London; UK. The Image was captured during the Notting Hill Carnival; and it illustrates how the local police force;

Thank you!

It is always amazing to get an email saying “you have made a sale”.

A few months back that is exactly what happened, I got the email of the sale – this time for the Alhambra image. Someone in Australia fell in love with this sun set picture of the
Moorish castle from Southern Spain.

Thank you Australia for buying the scarves; wherever or whoever you are! I hope it went to a good home!

The added bonus is…..
The site changed its policy on when the artist gets paid…you guessed it i even got my “paycheck”. Isn’t it amazing?

I guess all artists on Redbubble are looking forward to the money rolling in; as such even if it is just the first payment for art; in a long while; it is a proud moment non the less.
