Artist's Description

This agave will get you if you are not careful. It has needle sharp, hooked spines along leaf edges to protect it’s succulent, spike tipped, fleshy leaves. It puts out numerous “pups” along the base of a maturing plant and blooms only once after 10-15 years. It grows to a size of 12 × 12 inches. The Japanese name “Kissho Kan” translates to “happy or lucky crown”.
