Artist's Description

A chilly early January evening, nearly saturated air and soaked soil conspired to create a blanket of ground fog. The layer of mist hovered just 1 to 2 meters above the ground over much of Tisdall Park. The drifting mist would have been the perfect apparition on Halloween. Not an uncommon visitor during cool and damp winter months, the ephemeral ground-hugging clouds drape the landscape with a familiar chill and somber blanket.
