"A Cowboy's Dreams"

A cowboy’s dreams, lead to lying schemes.
braking maiden’s heart’s, by the dozen.
Tight faded denim, roams for lofty women,
in the light of the moon for their prison’s.

Their prison’s aren’t bars, but the fleshly scars,
slathered words of tongues, smooth as butter.
Their steel blue eye’s and their wanton smiles,
fracture young girls hearts, when they smother.

Silly sin laid women, are the catch their luring,
for those intoxicant scenes of reposing.
They’ll spend your wealth, leave you on a shelf,
then move on in their nightime of closing!

Beware little girl beams, of boy’s of your dreams,
who can light up your world with a promise.
In the moment they’ve won, will leave you undone,
in the wake of the fem’s they have ravished.

Now a cowboy’s dreams, can tie a heart in a sling,
for he can never be true to his words.
A rangeland his home, makes him destined to roam,
filling rivers with tears, from his hurts!

Not sure where this came from except that it reminds me of my own youth and gullibility. Just a word to the wise for our young female readers
