Artist's Description

Actress Louise Jakeway at Harbourside railway station platform in The Living History Players© performance of ‘Secrets of the Old Town’…. a walking tour with a difference! in Oamaru, New Zealand. In the background is the Meeks Grain Elevator building built in 1883 from designs by Architects Forrester and Lemon for the grain traders and millers J & T Meek. It was a five storey building, but a fire in 1920 destroyed the top two storeys. The building is now a museum called SteampunkHQ.
