Artist's Description

Looking down at Terrapin Point with the Canadian Horseshoe Falls in the background, one gets to not only feel the chill in the air on this mid-November night (the wind chill this night was 12°f with a slight breeze) , but also see the force of those waters falling over the ledge of Horseshoe Falls. The Terrapin Point observation area is already closed for the season, and snow can already be seen down there, but as Winter and Nature progresses, the snow at the point will grow so thick and high, the stairs disappear, along with the railing! Really!! But it’s all something to see, how mighty Nature is, even in Winter! Have you seen the waterfalls of Niagara Falls? Waters to the Falls come from Lake Erie, and after flowing over the ledges, flows downstream to Lake Ontario, and onward till it empties into the Atlantic Ocean.
Tripod-mounted EOS 80D with a Tamron 16-300mm F3.5-6.3 Di II VC PZD Macro iso640 2.5 seconds at f/8 shot at 17mm and straight out of the camera unedited
