Artist's Description

This rebuilt hiking path takes excited hikers through a narrow valley between sheer cliffs in the El Chorro area of Malaga province. Considering the height of the route, the cliffs, the views, and the location, it is a hike you’ll not forget soon! A narrow path hanging off the vertical cliff, takes you just over 5 miles of awesome adventure, after waiting your turn to join others. You’re given helmet and a hair mesh, then you’re on your way. It took me four hours to complete but that was only because I stopped constantly to snap the rocks, the gorge and the path. I took three cameras, one with a 600mm, another with a normal 28-300mm, and a small Sony outfitted with a 16mm with a fisheye adapter (this image was snapped looking straight down with the fisheye) to record this hike of a lifetime on a hot mostly sunny day! I took a sandwich, water, and some snacks, which were all devoured within an hour on the caminito! Watch for the spanish vultures, the mountain goats, and other birds flying around up high! Si, that’s my boots you see on the walkway!
