La Giralda is the bell tower of the Sevilla Cathedral in southern Spain. The church itself is one of the largest churches in the world and has outstanding examples of gothic and baroque architectural details. This adjacent exterior tower dates back to the 11th century, measures 320 feet in height and remains one of the tallest structures in the city today. you can actually go UP to the top; there are no steps within – it’s all a ramp, built to ease the walk up and also to accommodate horses!!
