Artist's Description

This is one of the flowers from my show and poems for her.

You took a little bit of me as you walked out my life.
Just a small bit but it was such a large bite.
Not one thank you did you give as you slammed the door.
And for all my love I gave to you, you took a little more.
A knife you should of cut me with its wound would heal in time.
But this small bite you ran off with has turned to spoil my life.
I was a man but as you see I am just a small reminder.
Of what a woman can do to one who’s love for her is stronger, than it was for him.
One bite was all you needed to set the course that day.
And now I am adrift in time with no one left to love.
I search the universe for my love, but its deep inside my mind.
Covered in the scab you left as you took your final bite.
You wicked thing you played with my love and twisted me inside.
And when you saw what you had done you twist a little more.
And I the weaker of us two fell victim to your scorn.
And then you bent down close to me and whispered I love you and took another bite!
