We once had a garden that pleased our souls
Jointly efforts rewarded by treasure
Who thought there’d be fun in digging out holes?
And our work would turn out to be pleasure

The roses grew proudly along the track
And soil being fertile and wet
The Rhodie’s were tall and stood at the back
As the hedges lined up as a set

Now packets of seeds are covered in dust
The manure just rots by the tone
The shovel is bent and covered in rust
And now gardening alone is no fun

I patiently tendered to all your needs
But all you have done is left me with weeds

l ache through watching friends being almost punished through the heart ache of seperation. They blow me away through watching their strength & their ability of moving towards their own happiness.
