Mothers Day let down

A man stopped at a florist to order some flowers to send to his mum who lived 200 miles away.
As he got out of his car he noticed a young boy was sitting on the curb crying.
He asked him what was wrong and he replied,
“I wanted to buy a rose for my mum. But I only have 75p, a rose costs £2.”
The man smiled and said,
“Come on in with me. I’ll buy you a rose.”

He bought the little boy his rose and ordered his mums flowers.
As they left he offered the boy a ride. He said,
“Yes, please! You can drop me off.”
He directed him to a cemetery, where he placed the rose on a freshly dug grave.
The man returned to the flower shop, cancelled the order, picked up a bouquet and drove the 200 miles to see his mum.
