Acting My Shoe Size

The basis of our world’s bias
Is a little white lie.
Held upon a pedestal.
Ten tenths of the population couldn’t tell you why.
We only see what we want to
And only hear what we think we need to.
Our priorities are warped
Because we think we need to care about who’s gonna shave their head
And who’s been admitted to “Club Dread”.
When our own worlds are spread thinner than theirs
And we don’t even know it.
But I’m just a kid.
And kids know nothing of sorts.
And no adult
Worth his or her salt
Would be outsmartd and upstaged
By a kid who pays attention
To their geography.
