Artist's Description

This is a steel cross that appears inside the Colosseum, Rome … perhaps an outdoor chapel, I’m not sure (taken on a film camera in March 2008).

I think it’s an odd, modern, addition – steel inside the stone structure – and because the Romans were the ones were persecuted Christ and provided Christians with this powerful symbol.

Please feel free to make any positive or constructive observations about the image itself.
