Phantom

To plunge between the wrath of life and death is but a mystery unknown to man

A haunting, a tenacious hold, a burning sensation

I hear the skies crying, the wind moaning, the whispering from every nook and cranny

I can no longer live under this unbearable torment, breathe in the sour, fickle air and breathe out the bitterness encaged within

For I surrender myself, through the laced veil of my weary soul, as I look up above at the morbid moon and his jealous companions . . . I fear not my eternal doom, as I have once done so before

. . . wandering into the peering darkness
