I’m not anyone special. I am not a writer. You will never see my name embossed anywhere, sometimes I’m too harsh on myself but this is me and what you see is the real me.

I am a landscape and portrait photographer I am about creating a memory which will last forever. I am a lover of the beach, taking long walks along the sand with my camera, taking in the peace and tranquility.

Photography has brought many challenges for me, sometimes put me in positions I have never been before, sometimes feeling quite out of my comfort zone, but that’s what it’s all about, stretching the limits of what you do and enjoying what you do.

I have a few websites where I sell my photographs, I hope one day to say my photo is hanging up there.

I have always been into art and design and always had a love for photography although for many years I could not afford to buy myself a camera, then back in the early 80’s I was given as a gift an old pocket camera with a great long flash. Then some years later I was able to buy myself a more updated camera, which I used often and have some great photos for the time.

About 5 years ago I was able to buy my current camera which is so much more sophisticated than any other camera I have owned.what would come to be my most trusted and faithful friend, a Canon EOS 600D.

Five years on and a few new lenses a tripod and a new backpack I took a step into the steepest learning curve I have ever given myself. My camera in the beginning felt like a stranger to me like learning a new language, with countless videos and tutorials and a course which I am doing has taken, me to place I never ever thought I could go.

As well as taking photo’s I am a graphic designer of approx. 20 years I design watermarks for photographers and business cards.

Thank you for looking at my work.and the Comments and feedback are very much appreciated!

Beauty around us.

Life has been pretty good for me lately. / I have done two photo shoots, which took me way out of my comfort zone and that was photographing children at play. What a magical day watching the children laugh and have fun as I snapped away, / This challenge was quite different to what I usually do, as I am a keen out door photographer of the countryside, buildings and my favourite subject the beach.…

This is a big challenge for me to add one of my photos to a group and waiting to see if I’ve been chosen as a winner. (Which Way? – 2 A Day) / I’ve never added any of my photos to any sort of competition before and it’s a big thing knowing there are so many others with so many good photos. / I’m always very hard on myself when it comes to my work, I know I shouldn…

Introducing my Blog Pictures Through A Lens

I had many photos which I have and many people have asked me how I felt at the time of taking them, I could sit for hours talking about them. Then I thought what a great idea if people like hearing about what I do with my photos why not put my thoughts feelings together for others to read in a blog. / Sometimes when I write my blog the words don’t always come out the way I want them to, I h…
