Pamela is a successful Silicon Valley professional based in the Bay Area and the San Luis Obispo area. But her true passion is to be out in nature, photographing and caring for animals as a volunteer wildlife rehabilitator, the latter for over 25 years. Having worked intimately with the tiniest hummingbird to the largest California sea lion, she is passionate about the natural world around her. She always looks forward to introducing others to it – either through photos or guiding them through their own personal experiences. “You’ll notice my style is about showing nature the way she really is, and the way I’ve taken the photo. What i enjoy is being out in nature, not being at a computer trying to make an image perfect in post-production. If I’m unable to get out in nature until later in the morning or day, with non-optimal light conditions, I will occasionally fix a shadow on a beautiful animal’s eye or I’ll crop to bring an animal closer to the viewer. And I sometimes have a bit of fun with watercolor or pencil effects on the animal. But otherwise, what you see is raw and beautiful nature. I hope you still get joy and inspiration from the photos of these beautiful animals and other aspects of nature through the photos – and more importantly, that you take the time regardless of where you are, to get out in nature and enjoy….”
