Held in the Crystalline Palm

All’s quiet inside the Mountain

Standing, breathing

Beckoned by the cave’s darkness

She calls my name
In Ancient tongue

But this inky lightlessness is something else
Akin to a heavenly touch

Eyes closed in reflection
A silent offering

I am nurtured and held as babe in her womb
Where the light shines from within

In the crystalline palm of pure majesty
I am as child
My soul earthed in wondrous quietude

Held in the Crystalline Palm
