across the river, at the edge of the field,a stand of trees colonised a small mound.It looked like an island on dry land.I loved the way the refections were cut off by the near bank.It made me want to draw closer to the edge to see if they went deeper but what looked at first glance like dry land turned out to be soft and boggy.Appearances shown to be deceptive. My boots are still drying out…
