Artist's Description

False Clown Anemonefish (Amphiprion ocellaris_) in a purple anemone (_Heteractis magnifica) on the Kapalai House Reef, Sabah, Borneo, Malaysia. It’s a bit unfair to the poor little guys to call them “false,” but this species had the bad luck to be discovered after the “true” Clown Anemonefish, which can be seen here.

Nikon D300s, 60mm Micro Nikkor, ISO 200, f/36 at 1/250 sec in RAW, Seacam housing, two Seacam flashes.
