Artist's Description

The Opera House lit for the Lunar New Year, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. The Sydney Opera House is a performing arts complex comprising multiple venues. Its iconic design, conceived by Danish architect Jørn Utzon in 1957, has resulted in it being awarded UNESCO World Heritage status. The project of its construction commenced in 1958. It was finally completed in 1973, ten years later than planned.

Nikon D810, AF-S NIKKOR 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR at 32mm, ISO 800 in RAW, f/5.6, seven images (exposure times 0.4, 0.8, 1.6, 3, 6, 13 and 25 seconds) processed in Photomatix.
