The Trestle

This afternoon I decided to play around with black & white images. A short drive brought me to an abandoned railroad trestle. The lighting worked out nicely and the setting was peaceful. It would be a good place to visit again in other seasons and different times of day. Towards the end of my stay, I switched to color. I should have also put a telephoto lens on to get better pictures of the orange flowers on the vines. The trestle has become a trellis for some kind of wild, flowering vines.

One view I have posted tends to make you wonder… What is beyond the portal? What is around the bend? Where does the road go? Well, there were no signs to say “No Trespassing”. So, maybe I’ll walk further next time.
