Artist's Description

A solitary figure crossing the Bow Bridge in Central Park, NYC.

The structure is an iconic feature of the park, stretching from Cherry Hill to the Ramble. It is the combined vision of Jacob Wrey Mould and Calvert Vaux. Completed in 1836, the Bow Bridge is the only of the parks bridges to be constructed using cast iron, as appose to more commonly used stone.
