Artist's Description

Sometimes referred to as Elephant’s Foot. a perennial flower with a purple to pink color. This one was about the maximum height of 2 1/2 feet. The ground was quite sandy, damp but well drained soil. Often visited by butterflys.

This shot was taken north of Jasper, Florida in Hamilton County in the abandoned right of way.
