This visit to the Crawley Edge Boatshed was a total opposite to my last visit a few days earlier, When the waterline was above the jetty leading to the boatshed due to a storm surge which resulted in a unusually high tide, Which is the opposite to the unusually low tides we have had over the last few days.
I decided to walk into the river to get a unusual perspective of the boatshed since I thought the water wasn’t to deep, But in the end, I found myself knee deep in the water shooting the boatshed, And once again, Going home soaking wet. LOL
The boatshed was built in the 1930’s and was restored by it’s current owner in the early 2000’s after being in a dilapidated and run down state for many years.

Adrian.. This is a seriously good photo.. There are so many levels to it, its the sort of shot you can keep going back to and finding new elements..
Thanks for commenting. :)
Fab perspective, night shot, lighting, colours, mood and capture. Congrats on the feature, too. Well done. Another fave.
Marvellous shot, rich colour and very good use of panoramic style
Wonderful shot and a great perspective and the tones are just so rich, I recently learnt that the shed actually once belonged to my dads uncle (my great uncle I guess)
Smashing panorama! Great angle, striking colours.
To get a different take on this very popular Perth icon I have considered getting into the water myself and wondered how deep it would be. Thanks for the heads up!
P.S. Great to get a new persective (literally), great outcome!
Congratulations Eon, “Crawley Edge Boatshed” has won our The Built Form $20 Voucher to be Won Challenge. A stunning image and a well-deserved win mate
