I noticed for a few weeks some honey eaters eating nector out of Brush Bottle Tree’s in my garden but at first they were to ilusive to photograph. They were very fast and skittish to approach the tree so instead I sat neaby with my camera on a tripod everyday for a few weeks taking pictures of them though I wasn’t satisfied with the results but noticed the birds were getting more and more used to my presence. This made it easier to get close enough to them after a few weeks of this. Now it was a matter of waiting for one to eat from a particular flower I had my eye on. Finally a bird flew up and ate hovering right where I wanted it to and got this image that I’m happy with.
