This painting took me almost a year because there is just so much detail when painting brass!! I kept getting frustrated, and set it aside and worked on other pieces until I could approach it fresh again. It took several rounds of “starting fresh” to make myself finally finish it. I’m happy with how it turned out, though, and it was worth the frustration.
