I consider myself a photo enthusiast that enjoys traveling and capturing the world as I see it. In high school I became an exchange student which really gave me an appreciation for different cultures and traditions. As a college student, I studied Anthropology with a concentration in Cultural Anthropology. All the while, I enjoyed taking casual photos documenting the world as I saw it.

Today I still enjoy traveling and I use photography as a means to share my world with my audience. I must admit, photography is purely a self gratification process for me. Not only because I enjoy the photos and the memories they hold, but because others enjoy them as well. The icing on the cake is when someone looks at my pictures and understands why I was motivated to create that particular photograph.

Recently, I was introduced to HDR imaging, and to me this was a perfect fit. Ever since I was little, I often viewed things as an illustration or cartoon. A lot of my images today often look like illustrations and that is appealing to me. I blame this on the fact that I am missing the gene that connects my brain to my hand, rendering me renderless :) It is my way of drawing.

Enjoy snooping around through my images… I welcome comments and suggestions always. Thanks for stopping by.

A Great Big Thank You

Thank you so much to the person that purchased eight pieces of work from my Cortland, New York collection. These are some of my first works and it makes me happy knowing someone will be enjoying these as much as I do. If these are going to be displayed publicly I would love to know where. I moved from Cortland almost two years ago and miss the opportunity for small town photography. Enjoy!

I grew up in a typical suburban American home at a time when families sat down and had dinner together, watched evening television together and talked about what events took place that day. Although the world was somewhat confined to our circles of community, kids were aware of something bigger …
