Artist's Description

I took this photograph after telling my best friend that there was a roller coaster under this sign. I stopped and looked up and knew that the angle was perfect for a photo.

I could not move from that spot and despite it being fairly early (by Las Vegas standards) I asked if she would mind waiting for the roller coaster to come through. As she was excited to see it anyway, it was not a chore.

Yay then that when it DID come through, my trustee Canon IXUS 850is captured it at the best time.

This photo can be found on an American Cities/Las Vegas photography website which makes me somewhat proud. No idea why the image is too small for some prints… I shall look at the original and re-upload if necessary. I know that I shall be putting this on canvas for my own flat, so it surprised me.

Dedicated to Claire A-W.
