Sold my first calendar - Thank you!

Fitting that my first ever calendar to be sold (other than the 2 I bought myself which were personalised for friends) was my Otter Calendar.

THANK YOU to whoever purchased it. I hope that you or your recipient love it. I do enjoy the RB calendars, they are great paper quality, I just don’t have the wall space to keep them for myself. :-)

Thank you, sold a greetings card of.. my Teddy Bears on the QE2....

What a surprise to sell a greetings card of my 2 Teddy Bears – Teddy Edward and Plug looking out at Reykjavík from my cabin on the QE2.

I thought maybe someone bought it for me for my 40th, because it was coming up to my birthday – AND because a week afterwards I was flying out to Reykjavík. But no. So some kind stranger is sharing the love of my oldest “brothers” with someone out there.

I hope that they are met with smiles. :-)

Sold!! A sticker of sticky Belgian pinwheels.

I had a great day with my co-worker as we went on a day trip to Brussels. While she was enjoying the many many patisseries because she wanted to eat everything, I was enjoying them because I wanted to photograph everything. We have a good understanding. She loves this sort of food so I’ll hunt it out with her, as long as I can get a photo.…

Anyway in one of the windows I saw these pinwheels. They look like pecan or walnut or something, although who knows? Date and walnut sounds like a combo I have heard of? I don’t know. There was no sign, even in French or Flemish, they just expected you to automatically know what they were and just buy them. Or you know, ask, so that they could sell you lots more as well.

Well… I this is actually one of my favourite photographs, so I am thrilled that som

Sold! Greetings card from the Diamondback Ball Park

So someone must love the Diamondbacks! I was in Phoenix way back in 2004 and a walk took me past here. I do not know why but I took a photo of the ballpark. Maybe because I just thought it was cool to be next to a ballpark? I don’t know.…

Anyway, since taking this photo it has become “Chase Field” and a moment on Google confirms that this is still the case.

THANK YOU to the person who bought it!!

I was also talking on Monday about megapixels. How many MP are there in my 7D. The answer, as always was “no idea, doesn’t bother me much” (although I think it’s 18 but that’s just a feeling) – and then yes, lo and behold, yet another photo taken with a 2mp camera has sold. :-P

Oh, here is the photo in question. Of course, the largest sale can be of a card because it’s so small (so ok MP help some
