Artist's Description

My daughter loves to play pool and went out after work to just relax and play a few rounds by herself, when young men came by to ask her if they could join her she said ‘no, not interested’ until one night a very polite man came by, the same man who had told other young men to leave her alone, that she preferred to play by herself to relax until one night she saw something very special in him, a gentleman for sure, gallant and handsome she later told me. Well they are now wed and for one of their wedding gifts I made this painting of the symbols that meant so much to them. Pool on the bottom right is where you see their roots take hold in the billiard balls, roots of trees, she loves nature so I incorporated that as well, their rings, flowers, candles to represent their becoming one, wedding invitations and calla lilies and dove were representative of me, her mom…
They now have a baby boy which is grandmas pride and joy…

watercolor with pen and ink highlights.

I made this painting for my daughter and son in laws wedding.
