Ellen Orseck paints figures submerged in water, collages of Asian themes, sumo wrestlers immersed in food & turbulent weather. She has earned public arts commissions from state arts councils, corporate collectors & private patrons across the US & England. including a mural awarded by the National Endowment for the Arts. She earned a Master’s Degree in Painting from NYU & another in Museum Education from GWU. She teaches at Rice University Glasscock School & Watercolor Art Society, Houston.
