Purity?

I could die in my twenties
And be a hero for all the junkies
Or i could die at thirty-three
And portray that crucified hippy

But I’ve always been a coward

Am i witnessing a hate?
That has made me insane
Or have I encouraged a fate?
That has caused me this pain

Take the time to remember me
Wipe your nose before i sneeze
Itch away the foes within your mind
Concealment’s in my eyes

And you torch me like the Flag of Democracy
And you love me like your God of Hyprocrisy

Well I could live forever
And become annoying as English weather
Or I could die sometime today
And become the vultures prey

But I’ve always been a coward

Am I trespassing on purity?
That has crippled me to bed
Or have i encountered virginity
That has labelled me inbred

Dissatisfaction’s under my toenails
Lips of mad sever your thoughts
Hungry ears have never let me down
Yet still i hear their words of sympathy
