Miracles Tripping By

Throughout her lifetime she was blessed

By things no one could explain

Good things came and good things went

None ever had a name

A childhood full of love and joy

From parents that were so in love

Both left her life so early

Watch over her still from above

She married a man she adored

Who in turn felt the same about her

Children were born to their union

All unhappy times seem a blur

Sometimes things were so easy

A song was sung in her heart

Other times, those sadder ones

Caused cascades of tears to start

How she coped with it all amazed some

For in spite of many obstacles

Her spirit soared with Eagles wings

She found herself tripping over Miracles

Who gave her the strength of a warrior

The attitude that wouldn’t give up

Who made her bend against strong winds blown

Who kept filling that half full cup

It’s just one of those things try as you will

You never can seem to explain

For the miracles kept popping up

Easing and soothing the pain

If ever you meet her you’ll know her

For there’s a twinkle in her eye

She’s quite old and alone now

With miracles still tripping by
