On the Bandwagon

Like money is green brings mud in between
Bandwagons we jump in hopes to feel free
I struggle and fall for this world to crawl
Buried desolation overcomes me

Panic in place be aware of this face
I break your dreams like the seams in your jeans
I cover in fear as I count my tears
Bruised and battered I demand for better

Equality makes me weak at the knees
Doesn’t knowledge and truth dart through the night?
For I could only find a fight tonight
Peace we would speak, peace I never did find

Clutching on to empty words, it’s absurd
Knowing the truth from lie, could make us die

On the Bandwagon
