Growing up near Schiphol Airport, The Netherlands, I got fascinated by those magical machines that flew in the sky like it was the most natural thing to do. As a youngster already, I would ride my bike to the airport to go watch them take off and land.
Nowadays, I have a steady job as Mechanical Engineer. The interest in aviation has not subsided, even intensified. Combined with my photography hobby, I now call myself a spotter (hence the screen name; EHAM = ICAO code for Schiphol)

What you will find here on Red Bubble are only a few of my planespotting pictures (the ones I really like, from an artistic point of view), and a lot of spin-off pictures. With that, I mean the pictures I took while plane spotting, but not of airplanes. A lot of things happen in the vicinity of an airport. And despite the noise, a lot of animals choose to live there, because people don’t tread there.

Of cause I’ll also put up some of my more artsy holiday snaps, along with other every day life pictures. I find that beauty is all around. Every place. Every day.
