Artist's Description

Here is (in my opinion), one of the most beautiful flowers on God’s green, a day lily. Commonly mistaken for a Tiger Lily, this beauty is slightly different. Having the capability to bloom all Summer long unlike the Tiger Lily, this flower can commonly be seen in ditches on country roads growing wild and free. This variation has been in the U.S. so long, most Americans believe it to be a native species, however it was brought over to this country from Asia just like Honey Suckle.

The scientific name for this flower is: Hemerocallis fulva

I hope you enjoy it as much as me.
