Artist's Description

This is a photo of my Mom and Dad and my family taken in 1952 by my great Uncle Carl with a Kodak Bellows type Camera. My Dad drove his Bob Tail Ford Truck, in the photo, for Purity Stores. Kids in front are my brother Dennis, left, then my little brother Walt, middle and me on right. Dog is Goggy, A terrier that was in our family for over 20 years. He saved me from a kidnapper when I was 3 years old. This was a framed photo that vanished years ago. I photogrpahed it using my old Argus C3 35MM Brick camera (called the brick because it was shaped like one, and as heavy as one) as a project for my High School Photography class. Just one of many old photos that would have vanished had I not made copies of them by photographing them.
