Bloody Red Rose

That red rose voluptuous in pose
Now bows limp in repose…
Someone had thought to give

Is it crying while lying limp
Or sighing while trying an attempt
To continue to live

Bloody dark shades
Soft petals frayed
Holding treasured seed

Blood colored Petals hover
Sheltering like a cover
Doing Master’s deed

Can it not help
But to whelp
From abuse while protecting buds

Like the Messiah
Its soul’s desire
Is covering its love in blood

Bloody red petals
Honored by the medals
Produced each spring

Bloody red Jesus
Honored cause He freed us
Crowned The King of Kings.
