The Verdict

The judge is ready
And I am confident
My chin is up and my hands are steady
And I am ardent

The plaintiff had images
Fingerprints and witnesses
A guilty plea and logistics
Even blood for emphasis

Was I guilty
I did it all
My vessel filthy
Ignored some calls

The plaintiff’s face
Had a permanent smirk
Like he’d practiced this case
Was diligent to rehearse

The Supreme Judge sat
On His Great White Thrown
He knew all the facts
Nothing was unknown

As He winked at His Son
He stated the verdict
We had won
The plaintiff heard it

What did him in
Has never failed us yet
The blood always wins
It cancels our debt
