The Deceased

Like the raindrops hit the ground,
I hear bodies falling down,
Returning back to earth,
While eternity gives birth,
To another generation of soldiers,
Marching through time and space holders.
Are they prepared for what they behold?
Are they nestled and flanked in white robes?

War has claimed another crew.
It will take gentile or jew.
No discrimination,
Just a sniper’s penetration,
Straight and to the point.
At any time it can anoint,
Another victim to receive,
The title of deceased.
