Artist's Description
Taken on Bondi beach, Sydney. I believe I used a Canon 10mp camera for this shot, though i’m not 100% sure. For the effect, I played around with the selective colour options in PS CS3 until i came up with something warm and golden but with a hint of dramatic atmosphere.
The guy waxing his board seemed to do it with such passion and care…but I was just thinking…“Mate, you’re missing some awesome waves!” That’s why I had to call this one ‘The Perfectionist’. I’m sure all that waxing payed off though.
This is my first real attempt at using PS. I adjusted this image over and over and over…and to be honest, I think i prefer the original! Anyway…here it is…until i try again…

thanks for the advice Ian! I think it needs to be a bit lighter…if you have a laptop…tilt your screen and it looks better…lol
