Artist's Description

Using my hubble telescope, I have discovered planets and alien life in another solar systems. I have posted one of the planets I discovered, Velantia and today I want to add this amazing find, the planet Mersia. I have located several planets in a galaxy far far away…… I also have photos of aerial views that show more detail of alien landscapes that I will share with you. Poul Anderson wrote a book entitled Ensign Flandry describing mammalian beings from a planet he had not yet discovered. Apparently he reported being abducted by a Mersian, an oxygen breathing being who can visit planets with plenty of free water, oxygen and moderate temperatures, resembling Earth and their home world Merseia. Although they bear their young alive and suckle them, they very clearly resemble their reptilian ancestors. Their heavy tail is used both as a back prop when the Merseian is at rest and as a weapon in close-quarters fighting. I have a photo of a Merseia supplied to me by Poul Anderson. His account of his journey to the planet Merseia could convince any skeptic that life exists in other galaxies. We are not alone says Poul Anderson and the government has gone to extreme measures to hide the true facts from the inhabitants on Planet Earth. I was fascinated by his account and worked for days exploring the information he gave me to finally locate the planet Merseia, a beautiful undiscovered planet that our species could travel to given its oxygen based and friendly aliens who have not harmed any earth inhabitants during their exploration of life forms on other planets. When the Merceians were first discovered by Terran traders, they occupied one planet, and had not developed space travel. Their society was feudal, with a tradition of loyalty and responsibiliy betwen the nobility and their client families. After first contact, the Merseians acquired interstellar spacecraft and began building heir own Empire. They retained class structure: the Emperor is elected by a governing council of noble clan heads. The Merseians are militaristic, but not in the brutal sense of earth beings. They never kill any of their own species and are proud of displaying their courage in battle to protect themselves against hostile outside forces. They would be very welcoming to human beings and as Poul stated are a model for civilization and like other alien species consider homo sapiens to be primarily brutal and primitive beings that are viewed as inferior to many levels of alien life intelligence and higher levels of consciousness as introduced to our society by Abraham Maslowe . They have observed our uncivilized and underdeveloped society and military intelligence (an oxymoron) with abject terror and horror at our primordial traits. The Merseians have retained their class structure: the Emperor is elected by a governing council of noble clan heads. They have a tradition of independence that makes them impatient with bureaucracy and any political system that would promote division among their species and lead to the savage wars conduced by human beings who kill many of the most noble and courageous members of their own species. We are not only considered inferior in the United States by other more civilized countries around the world, but also are seen as severly arrested developmentally and resistant to emotional maturation over the many centuries that we have been observed by the noble Empires of extraterrestrial beings. They like others believe our President Mr. Bush may be the missing link as demonstrated by the website
