Artist's Description

I am writing about my dream when animals are treated with respect and the cruelty inflicted by humans no longer exists in any form. We can live harmoniously with animals in the wild and domestic settings if we understand the importance and value of life for all species that share our planet. The Fund for Animals Wildlife Center is located on 13 acres in Southern California. Ill, injured, and orphaned wild animals are taken care of by this sanctuary’s medical staff. Volunteers provide 24-hour care to native wildlife, especially birds of prey, bobcats, coyotes, crows, mountain lions, ravens, skunks and more. The facility serves as a hospital and nursery. It limits the animal’s interaction with people so the can retain the “wildness” they will need to survive when they are released. Viewing this bark abstract, you can find some of the animals that live in this protected setting. As you can see on the bottom of the photo, there is plenty of water to drink and cool off in the hot temperatures.
