Artist's Description

This tree transformed into the dark mystical image of a woman that is using the power of her spirit to spread healing seeds over the city on a cloudy day that enhances the atmospheric mystery of this image. In the background are buildings bathed in mist. This photograph was taken on a busy day in Los Angeles and my intent was to remove all modern icons except for the two buildings in the distance. The luminesence coming through the clouds is the power of the transformative light emanating out of the dark looming clouds. The power of the light created by this healing spirit, the silhouette of the tree is a profoundly transformative. Black Magic Woman is also a song first performed by Fleetwood Mac and later made popular by Santana in the early 70’s.
