Artist's Description

I was very sad in the first photo in my magical Pond. My mom was right when she said that I was feeling all the pain of the millions of dogs that are in kill shelters after being neglected, abused and abandoned by their owners. My heart breaks for all the sensitive animals on this planet like the baby seals and Polar bears that are victims of unconsciable cruelty. Here you see me looking very intense watching an Elephant that was abused living in chains in the circus. Jenny is crippled after twenty six years in captivity. The owners of the circus would not feed her if she did not comply with every demand. The elephants have to back up into the big trucks on the caravan route and Jenny forgot and went forwards. She was tied up brutally and was denied food for almost a week. The heartwarming part of this story is that her mother Shirley is one of the elephants I rescued from a man who gave her to me at a circus in Reno, Nevada. They knew each other instantly and wrapped their trunks around each other. I cried for many days.
