Artist's Description

I enhanced this atmospheric photograph of a tree to create a sense of movement as if the tree is swept up in a wind storm. The details of this photograph are captured in the larger format. The image also can be viewed as an abstract image. I want to thank Sally Omar for using her creative imagination to write a beautiful poem to pair with this photograph.

I am as Windswept as the trees
My heart palpitating as quickly as the breeze
A mind in fear and in pain
My tears falling like the rain
Confusion and great despair
Is all that I feel has brought me here
To the brink of disaster and self destruction
There can be no help.. no reconstruction
I must keep running ..I have to go
But where I really don’t know
My legs are moving but I’m sitting here
In this great big blue chair
My mind is swirling like the wind
Why is this happening to me..have I sinned
A punishment with no end in sight
My brain keeps questioning me all night
Can you render some help for me
Because if not..disaster is all I see
Sally Omar
